Class: Class 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

This week Class 2 enjoyed making their own pirate treasure coins using clay. We discussed how pirates would target the boats transporting the coins from the Carribean to Spain, and which coins were more valuble. The children took coin rubbings, designed their own coin and sculpted this from clay, before painting with metallic paints.

We also made a model compass and used it to write directions between landmarks on a pirate treasure map.
