School Meals

At Bollington St John’s we are proud to offer a nutritional, locally sourced hot meal to all our pupils each day.

We have a seasonal menu which includes a vegetarian option. Our meat and dairy are all sourced from the local Cheshire area and all fish is from sustainable sources.

We have several themed lunches throughout the year for the pupils for special occasions including Christmas Dinner, Easter and Chinese New Year.

We also support the ‘healthy lunch box’ scheme. If your child will be having packed lunches, please make this as healthy and balanced as possible. We do not allow hot food to be brought into school. Please review our Packed Lunch Guidance and Packed Lunch Policy for further information.

For a small fee, during mid-morning break, we offer a variety of snack options, including fruit, cereal bars, breadsticks, pancakes, waffles and yogurts.

All reported food allergies/dietary requirements must be supported by written medical evidence.

Payments for snacks and meals will only be taken through the ePayments system. Click here to log-in or click here if you are using the system for the first time and need to register your child/ren.

Food Hygiene Rating

We are pleased to report that following our latest inspection in July 2019, we have retained our 5-star rating.

A notice period of two weeks is required if you wish your child/ren to switch from school meals to packed lunches (and vice versa).
