“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” Colossians 3:23

PTA

The Parent Teachers’ Association (PTA) exists to support the education of children at St John’s by raising funds for the school and by organising activities that enrich school life.

This year we are fundraising for a very exciting new project; to provide the school with an outdoor learning space and shelter. This will incorporate a bird watching hide, bug hotels and much more. This is the most ambitious project the PTA has pursued and to be successful we will need support from everyone.

All parents and carers of children at St John’s are automatically members of the PTA and there are lots of different ways to get involved - by coming along and having fun at one of our events, donating cakes to sell, volunteering to help at one of our community fairs or even organising your own fundraising event!

We hold meetings regularly throughout the term where we plan our events and discuss any items that we need to raise money for.

We welcome new people at our meetings and we are always interested to hear fresh ideas. Notice of each meeting is sent by email to all parents via the school’s parental communication service.

We have various communication channels as well as the school email to help you get involved and keep up to date!
