Investigating Ice

Class: Class 1 Year: 2016 - 2017

With the cold snap we've had over the last few days, the Reception children have been fascinated by all the ice outside.

We have set up experiments to see if salt or warm water would melt the ice quicker. We've created ice art using water and sequins, and we've painted shards of ice to look like stained glass windows. 

We've talked about the process of freezing and melting and learnt lots of super language.

Now, we're just waiting for the snow....
