“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” Colossians 3:23

Macclesfield Garden Festival

St John's Gardening Club have worked really hard making leaves for the Yarn Tree, which will be situated next to the Town Hall for the Macclesfield Garden Festival.

The Festival is on Friday 19th May – Sunday 21st May 2017 and some children from other schools have made a Dinosaur for a competition that will be outside Christ Church.

All children from school are invited to join with 15 other primary schools to take part in the Spring Wassail event.

Your child will need to be outside Macclesfield Town hall at 12.45pm, Saturday 20th May. All the family can join in with the Spring Wassail so siblings can also join in with dressing up!

What is the Spring Wassail?
At the Spring Wassail the children make as much noise as possible so drums, instruments, shakers, anything that the children can make a noise with, should be brought along.

The celebration should be a lot of fun and children can dress up as Mother Nature, the Green man or with flowers in a flora like hippy style!

Please note that If children turn up a little before 12.45pm, a lady will be available to put flowers in hair etc for a small fee of £2.00 approx.

The WASSAIL is at 12.59pm for ONE MINUTE so this will be easy to miss if children are late!!

It should be really good fun for all, and we are very excited about this event!

Lots of other things will be available to see and do for all the family, so a good event to spend time. Do make the most of the festival.

🌼🌼 Come and have fun with all the family 🌼🌼

Best wishes,
St. John's Gardening Club
