“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” Colossians 3:23

British Science Week

Next week is British Science Week and we have lots of activities planned. This year’s theme is sustainability and these are some of the learning that will be happening in class:

Class 1 – will look at the power of the sun, wind and water by making waterwheels, windmills and using sun bleached paper.

Class 2 – will be creating a bee garden and conducting an experiment to look at different types of plastic.

Class 3 – will be creating an allotment to grow food in. They will also be investigating diversity and designing a classroom of the future.

Class 4 – will be conducting a fruit and vegetable investigation and will be linking their diversity work to International Woman’s Day which is on the 8th March to explore women in science.
