What an amazing World Book Day!

The school is full of children dressed as wonderful book characters, many linked our theme of classic literature to celebrate 25 years of World Book Day.

Class 4 have spent the morning thinking about, and discussing, why we love to read.  We also found some parcels in our classroom, which we upwrapped and shared the first chapters of- this has inspired us to want to read so many of them.

Reception enjoyed a special assembly with Class Two where we watched a video all about how inspirational books are; we also drew our book characters and discussed why we chose them. We enjoyed reading stories with Class 4 at the end of the day.
