Class 3 2024 - 2025

Welcome to Class 3's page.

I am Mrs Smith and I am delighted to be teaching Class 3 this year.  I am also the school's special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO).  Class 3 is made up of 30 fantastic learners and this year we will be helped by Mrs Heath and Mrs Howarth.

This term we are all very excited to be starting our French and music units.  In science we will be learning about sound, living things, classification and changing habitats.  In history we are learning about the Ancient Egyptians and look forward to our Horrible Histories trip next month. We will be looking at how Jesus changed and changes lives in RE and in English we are starting an exciting book called the Mysteries of Harris Burdick which will help us with our creative writing. 

Our Christian Value this term is Thankfulness followed by Forgiveness.

A list of spellings for the year will be sent home with your children at the start of the year (term 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B).  We are now on set 2A.
