Remembrance Day Class 2

Class: Class 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

As part of our current 'Day in the Life' IPC topic, Class 2 discussed the work of our armed forces and how Remembrance Day is a time to think about the sacrifices they have made for us now and in the past. We discussed why a poppy is a symbol of hope and remembrance.

To show our respect we made a poppy from paper and a lolly stick. We folded the red paper and cut it to make a heart shape. When opened out this created our poppy which we decorated with tissue paper to represent the seeds.
