Recycling Project

Lesson: EYFS

Class: Class 1 Year: 2022 - 2023

We have been very busy carrying out a recycling project over the past three weeks. 

We have used several books, The Messy Magpie and Clean Up to inspire our activities.

The children have identified the recycling symbol, sorted rubbish by materials with a focus on their properties, rescued sea creatures from the plastic in a tuff tray set up and been on a litter pick around Bollington.

The children also loved seeing how paper was made and then recycling old paper in school to create our own. 

The children have discovered a love for our environment and the discussions and care that they have taken during this project has been amazing!
