Preparing the Allotment

Class: Class 1 Year: 2017 - 2018

The reception children have been really busy preparing our allotment ready for the season ahead. We have removed the dead leaves, topped up the soil and planted our carrot seeds straight into the soil. 

We also planted up some lettuce seeds, pumpkin and courgette seeds and peas and herb seeds. These are now growing inside and the children are carefully watering them every day. We already have growth and we look forward to planting these outside when they are big enough.
