Our Egg Has Hatched!

Class: Class 1 Year: 2017 - 2018

After a long 3 week wait, our single remaining egg has finally hatched. It was a tense moment for everyone involved but she is here safe and sound and already feeding well.

The children are over joyed with the new arrival and have been observing and weighing her and making lots of observational pictures of her.

We have shared our experiences with other children and Nature Club have been in to hold the new chick as well as children from other classes.

Another big thank you to the Macclesfield Round Table for the very kind donation of a brand new indoor cage for a our chick and a gift voucher for supplies. We are so very grateful to you all.

The Macclesfield Round Table is a local charity group for men aged 18-45. They arrange charity events including the Macclesfield Beer Festival and Santa's Sleigh; both of which need volunteers. If you'd like to get involved, please do get in touch.
