National Poetry Day

Lesson: Literacy

To celebrate National Poetry Day, all the children have been involved in some fantastic activities.

Reception: We listened to several different poems before creating our own Animal Countdown Poem. We tried to use alliteration when describing our animal. We all enjoyed creating artwork to illustrate our poem.

Juniors: We took part in a Guinness World Record attempt to be part of the largest live poetry lesson.
