National Poetry Day

Lesson: Literacy

To celebrate National Poetry Day, we welcomed local author, Sean Perkins into school. 

Every class joined in with a poetry and songwriting workshop where Sean's original pieces were reimagined by the children.

All the children then had the opportunity to perform together, alongside Sean (and his guitar).

What a fantastic morning and a perfect way to inspire our children's love of poetry!
