This week children have tried to answer the question ‘Are dinosaurs real?’

We have examined real examples of fossils and created a factsheet to show how they can be formed. Children then created their own model fossils. First, children created a mould by pressing in a shell or a model dinosaur into plasticine. Next, children mixed and poured their own Plaster of Paris. We allowed the fossil to set overnight.
