Diwali

Class: Class 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

To celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali we have learnt all about the traditions and stories behind this festival of light.

We used clay to make diva lamps and chalk to recreate rangoli patterns.

We designed mehndi patterns for our hands and learnt about Rama and Sita. 

We compared some of the main elements of Diwali with those of Bonfire Night and we created 3D fireworks using folded paper and spiralled pipe cleaners.
