Class 3 Victorian Visitor

Class: Class 3 Year: 2021 - 2022

Today, Class 3 were joined by Sophia Johnson. Sophia worked in a silk mill in 1870s Macclesfield. 

Children were able to share their learning about the Victorians as well as ask Sophia about her life. 

Children read Sophia's diary, which included her working conditions and a recent circus visit. We then worked in small groups to reenact these real life events.
