Bollington Festival Writing Competition

Such a lovely assembly today. Judges, Sandy and Gayle joined us from the Bollington Festival writing competition. Out of nine possible prizes (three first prizes, three second and three thirds), St John’s picked up four awards, including two first places. We were awarded first place in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. What writing superstars they are. Huge congratulations to everyone who took part.

The four winning stories will be published in the next edition of Bollington Live and read out on Canalside Radio.
