D-Day Commemorations

Today, all children commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day and a special poem was read at 11am. The children learnt how the D-Day landings of 6th June 1944 were the largest seaborne invasion in history, marking the beginning of the liberation of France and Western Europe.
