Clonter Opera
Bravo! Today Class Three have visited the opera.
Children travelled to Clonter Opera Theatre. There they took part in two workshops and watched a performance.
Children first split into small teams and learned all about the different roles that are required within a theatre production. Children thought about set and prop design. Working together, children designed a 1:50 model set design. Pupils have shown how well they can work together while flexing their creative muscles. Before lunch, children had a singing and dancing workshop. Learning songs in German, French and Italian.
We were blessed with good weather and children enjoyed a lunchtime playing out on the field. Children then watched a great opera performance. To find out more visit - https://www.clonter.org/education-programme/
