Class 4 Science - Irreversible and Reversible Changes

This week, Class 4 explored irreversible and reversible changes in science. We focused on melting, burning, freezing, heating and rusting.

We chose a particularly chilly day to go outside to burn different materials and observe the changes taking place!

We also observed a galvanised iron nail and a non-galvanised iron nail in water over the course of the week and watched the changes taking place. We learned that in order for iron to rust, water and oxygen must both be present.
