Ash Wednesday

The Year 6 children joined children from Bollington Cross today to take part in an Ash Wednesday service. The event, at St Oswald’s, was led by Rev Veronica. We sang hymns, learned all about lent and then, children who wished to, had a cross of ash marked on their forehead.
