Bishop Libby's Visit

Bollington St John's was delighted to host a very special visitor, when Bishop Libby came to our school. The Bishop, along with Canon Hydon joined us for lunch and then had a lengthy meeting with the Ethos groups from both schools of our Federation. She spent over an hour chatting to the children and answering all their questions. Before she left, Bishop Libby showed the whole school her Bishop's cross, ring, mitre, cope and crosier and explained the significance of each item.

It was a wonderful experience, an inspirational visit and we were very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet the Bishop.
