Chinese New Year

Class: Class 1 Year: 2021 - 2022

This week we have celebrated the Lunar New Year with lots of creative activities.

The children have learnt all about the animals in the story of the Great Race; we re-enacted the order using puppets.

We have all enjoyed making good luck posters, lanterns and lucky red envelopes.

The children have looked at the traditions of this special festival through the stories, Dragons in the City and the Runaway Wok.

We have shared our learning with Class 2 during our assembly.
